This week we will begin Literature Circles. Each student selected a book (from a choice of 5) and I formed Literature Circle groups. Each night, each student will read a given number of pages and complete a worksheet. Please make sure that your child does the reading and paper as he/she is working in a group and it is important that each student participates.
There will be a math test in geometry on Wednesday. We will begin fractions on Thursday. This unit will take us to the end of the year. We will write equivalent fractions, simplest form and add/subtract fractions.
On Thursday, there will be a pasta supper. The faculty will be serving the dinner. Please try to come. It is a great meal along with entertaining company. All proceeds will go to St. Anthony School.
If you have not registered for the 2012-2013 school year, please do so soon. We are in the process of ordering supplies and books for next year and your registration will greatly help us in the planning process.
